You are more perfect than we could have
hoped
More beautiful than we could have dreamed
More precious than we could have imagined
we love you more than we could have known

Summer is on its way out. What a busy one it has been. Keeping up with Enzo is hard to do. He has been enjoying swimming, playing on the playset, riding his motorcycle (fast), and just about anything else he can talk us into. He is trying to be a good brother even though he struggles with it sometimes. This week he started IU9 Preschool. He was a trooper and came out smiling. Luckily he didn't seem to inherit my dislike for the educational system. He even took an apple for his teacher! Now he will have to step up and be an even bigger brother and look out for 2 sisters! No worries. He's a tough guy.
March 28th, 2010
Look out summer, Enzo is coming and he's ready to rip. What a good boy Enzo is. Every day something new comes out of his mouth that makes us wonder if he is really only 2 1/2 years old. Now that the snow is gone for the year we have been trying to slow him down on his motorcycle. The other day he did circles around me while laughing as I tried to catch him. Yesterday Pap Pap and I put up the new playset. It wasn't bad other than a few minor mistakes, and sometimes less than accurate directions. I think that he will have a summer full of sliding, climbing , and bruises. Look out world, my little buddy is ready to rip.
February 6th, 2010
Enzo is a wild and crazy boy that fills our life with joy every day! As
you can see from the pictures, I bought him his first motorcycle (CRF50) he
loves it. When he got his riding gear all on for the first time, he looked
to me and said, "ok, I'm ready to rippppp", and he has been ever since. He
rides at least once a day (usually more) and is getting better at it each and
every time. On a educational note, he recognizes all his ABC's and their sounds.
He sings all the time loving the littlest worm song right now. He does
well with his sister, for the most part, although on occasion we have to remind
him how to play and touch her gently. Life with Enzo is never dull, that's
for sure!

I know, I know I haven't made an update in a long time. I swear I have been busy getting ready for Enzo's little sibling. Enzo is doing well and almost 2 years old!!! Only after we pulled out all of our baby stuff did I realize how big he is! Enzo was the Ring Bearer in his Unlce Britt and Aunt Kristi's wedding yesterday. Britt looked sharp and Kristi was beautiful but Enzo stole the show in his Chuck Taylors. He knows how to work the crowd. Now that the wedding is over he can focus on the task at hand, becoming the worlds best big brother. I think he is up for it.
March 29th, 2009
Well at least it has been less than one month since an update. Every week Enzo get's better and better. I am excited every morning to see him. I know as a father that is how you are supposed to feel, but I mean I can't wait to hang out with my little buddy every day. He has been helping me around the house. We finished his new room for the most part and he ran the cordless drill. He didn't seem to mind that it didn't have a bit in the chuck as long as it made the "zzzzzzz zzzz" noise. He loves his new room but isn't convinced that he need to nap or sleep in there. I can't blame him since he has us at his beck in call just a few feet away in the nursery. How the months fly by. Thank God for my little buddy.
March 2nd, 2009
Yeah I know, I know. It as been long time since we updated. It has been busy keeping up with the little monster. The picture to the left is of Enzo's happy face. It looks more like his gummy old man face to me. Enzo is awesome and gets better every day. He is starting to potty train and gets the idea. He is really loving his new "Big boy bed" that we had setup in the living room for a week. I had to do some more work to it so it is back in the shop. Next week we plan on working on the new room for him. I think he is excited about the idea of a new room. He has been chatting with the baby in mama's belly for awhile now. He likes to try and poke his finger through the belly button though when Brandi isn't paying attention. What a kid. Aunt Titi is here this week and he was excited to see her. She is staying for the week. His uncles have been stopping by the past few days as well. He loves them too! Keep checking back in. I will try and update again in a week or two!
December 31st, 2008
As Enzo would say "Oh goodness". The time is flying by. I can't believe it has been this long since I updated the site. Enzo is amazing as usual. I don't there is a day that goes by he doesn't surprise me with something new. We had a great Christmas and Enzo loved the presents. When they were all unwrapped he looked around and under the tree and asked "More Presents?" I think we will be in trouble next year. I am off work from Christmas to after New Years and Enzo is loving it. He is my little buddy and works with me in the basement on projects, helps from the window (Moral Support) while I'm cutting firewood, and anytime I am out and about he is attached at the hip. It is a great problem to have. I really have enjoyed this year with him and Brandi. He has come so far since last Christmas! I look forward to 2009 with my little man.
October 14th, 2008
Well
we are back from another whirlwind trip for work. I had several customers to
visit in New England last week. After we were done in Portland, ME we headed up
to camp in Bar Harbor, ME. Enzo was a trooper and did really well in the car.
Once we settled in Enzo had a blast. We hiked, went to the Acadia Oktoberfest,
took in the scenery, and just plain enjoyed it. Sunday morning came all to
quickly and we packed up and headed home. It is a 13 hour drive with no stops.
Needless to say with Enzo there has to be a few stops. Amazingly it only added 3
hours to our trip. He did great! To be honest it was the portable DVD player
that saved the day. He loves Leap Frog and sign language videos. As far as an
update, Enzo is talking more than ever. Some of his newest words; Moose,
Lobster, Pillow, Broccoli, and the list goes on and on. The scary part is that
he remembers things after seeing them once or twice. He will spout out a word
days later and completely surprise us. What a great kid. We Love him a
lot!!!!!!!
Sept 16th, 2008
This is Enzo at the Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago. Of course his favorite part was this John Deere tractor. Enzo is obsessed with tractors. Big ones, little ones, even the baggage carts at the airport are tractors to him. He loves them all. He had been amazing us as usual. He is wicked smart (as they say in Boston) and comes up with new words every day. He picked up "Ostrich" at the Zoo. He even said a 3 word sentence... "Mama, all done". Today Enzo and I had the best 20 minutes since he was really little. He woke up from his nap relaxed and sat tucked in my arm listening to music. I enjoyed every minute of it. That may seem simple but for Enzo to sit still for more than a minute is an achievement.
I love my Enzo. I don't know what Brandi and I did before he was here.
August 26th, 2008
As you might be able to tell this picture was taken pre-dawn at the beach in Ocean City. Enzo didn't want to miss anything so he decided to get up as early as possible. Since everyone else was sleeping our only viable option was to take a trip to see the sunrise. Enzo greatly enjoyed the birds we saw as we walked along. Seagulls came close enough that his mother got a little nervous. Enzo wasn't worried though. He knows he could take them. We had a lot of fun at the beach and I enjoyed getting to spend all day every day with him and Brandi.
In the past month his vocabulary is out of this world. I know I may sound like a proud dad but he is the smartest boy in the world. This is unbelievable but he can say and understand 50 words or so including some two word sentences. That's right folks we are talking 18-24 month level. We are thinking about visiting MIT this fall to get a feel for the place. The only concern is how to go to class and still get nunnies every few hours. I know one thing he won't have a problem picking up the ladies. He is a chick magnet. Guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree..... hahaha

Another month has gone by and Enzo gets smarter every day. We think he says about 30 words now. No they aren't perfectly annunciated but they are words. He will be going to the beach for the first time this weekend. I have a feeling he is going to love the ocean. We only hope he sleeps better than he has the past few trips! I will update with pics soon after we get back.
July 7th, 2008
Well Enzo's birthday has come and gone. He enjoyed his party and thanks to everyone for their gifts. Those of you who couldn't make it were missed. Enzo went through each and every present with great interest. He is still not sure what to play with in the mornings with everything to choose from. Both of Enzo's great grandmothers were able to come to the party. Even the weather cooperated! As each day goes by Enzo's steps are more balanced, his words get clearer, and he gets cuter. Although I am in no hurry, I can't wait to see what his future holds. DAD
July 1st, 2008 Happy Birthday Son!
They say that time flies. I always thought I had a good grasp on the concept. Boy was I wrong. It was one year ago that we were blessed with Enzo. A surreal experience to say the least. Since that day time has been going by at a breakneck pace. Every day has been a new adventure.
We didn't get much accomplished in Washington, DC. The only real site seeing we did was at the Smithsonian National Zoo. Aunt Laura and Cousin Ethan went with us to see the lions and tigers and bears. Enzo growled at the tigers as soon as he saw them. But in the end he felt more like screaming than sleeping in the hotel so we decided to cut the trip short. Enzo started walking the day after we got back from DC (June 14th) He has been on a mission ever since. He figured out the gate latches, door handles, and is working on the deck gates. We are in trouble!!!
June 6th, 2008
If you can't tell this is Enzo's new car seat. He seems to like it a lot! After much debate we decided on a Britax. They are a little expensive but are hands down the safest seats. They also happen to be made in the USA! Hard to believe. He is now around 22 pounds and growing bigger every day. It must be that dang breastfeeding! He isn't walking yet. He has good balance and the strength but not the interest yet. It will happen in due time I am told. Enzo is going to Washington, DC next week. I have a trade show to exhibit at and he is going to pay me a visit towards the end of it. If it all works out we will get to the Zoo, Smithsonian, National Archives, Orioles game with Aunt Laura and Ethan, etc. We will have lots of great pictures to post. I am excited for Enzo to see the monkeys and lions at the Zoo. Those are his two favorite animals. He makes monkey sounds and beats on his chest after his nightly bath. He also make "lion" sounds on command as of this morning. What a ham. We love him!!!!!!!!!!
May 21st, 2008
This is Enzo's "Mad" face. He is using it a lot lately. He mom thinks that his goal is to drive her insane. I think it's just his teeth bothering him. What a good boy though. He has been sleeping really well, eats everything, and is growing like a weed. After his nightly bath he loves to read his books with daddy before going to bed. He loves his books. Aunt TiTi came to visit a few weeks ago. Enzo thinks she is pretty cool. It must be her nose "beep beep". Enzo will be going on his first camping adventure this weekend. We will see how that goes! I have to finish his high chair soon! I never seem to get time to work on it. I guess the nicer weather and many outdoor projects have been taking priority. The chair couldn't hold him anyway. We ordered a 5 point harness system for chairs to try and hold him down. He is one tough little guy. I think this is an indication of his personality, he won't let anything hold him back from what he wants. Daddy's strength and mommy's stubbornness. What a combo!
April 2nd, 2008
As you can see Enzo is starting to take an interest in walking. He still gets around by crawling pretty well though! He also likes "working out". Today he and I went for a hike on the mountain looking for Turkey. We were the only ones we found this time. We did see an owl that we spooked out of a tree. He rides in the backpack and even falls asleep as I am climbing around the hill. He just keeps getting bigger and bigger. Garth and Heidi had their baby March 30th. Laine Magaro. 5lbs 12oz. Seeing pictures of a newborn makes us want to cry! It seems like Enzo was never that small. Well sorry it took so long to update. I have been pretty busy.

As usual it is hard to believe how quickly Enzo is changing. He is all over the place now! Crawling, cruising on the furniture, walking while holding on to our fingers, and pulling himself up on everything in reach. Now that he realizes he can move around he is unstoppable. The nightly diaper change before bed that I perform has gone from a peaceful moment between us to an all out wrestling match. He has a mind of his own and I like that! This past weekend Enzo got to attend his first NHL Penguins hockey game in Pittsburgh. He got tired at the end of the first period and decided to take a nap. The Penguins decided to score 2 goals. Enzo slept through the air horn and 17,000 screaming fans. If we didn't already know he can hear we would be worried. A few more days and he will be 8 months. Wow.
February 7th, 2008
In the picture to the left Enzo is enjoying fine dining in his hotel room. He likes to travel with me when I have to go out of town for work. He also prefers Holiday Inn Express hotels. This past week he also realized that he can stand up with assistance from stationary objects. He is such a big boy. It is hard to contain him now! He also likes to hurt mama's feelings by saying Da-Da quite a bit. She swears he made Ma sounds the other day but conveniently I wasn't around....
January 31st, 2008
Enzo will be 7 months old tomorrow. He thinks that means that he doesn't have to answer to us anymore. He crawls everywhere, gets into everything, and won't take no for an answer. His personality comes out a little more each day and boy are we in for it. I guess it is true what they say about getting paid back for everything you do to your parents. I had a bad temper, Enzo's is worse! When he see something he wants he stops at nothing to get it. We can't get over how much we love him. We didn't know it was possible to love someone other than each other this much. Now we need a little sister for him so he has someone to protect and watch over.
January 14th, 2008
Enzo is 6 and a half months old now and he acts like it. Friday he decided he was sick of waiting on us to get him from point A to point B so he started crawling. Granted it isn't the nice fluid crawling that will take some time to master but it is crawling none the less. He uses the special forces sneaky crawl the most but he does get his little butt in the air and make an attempt at a normal crawl. He made it half way across the living room last night after he felt the need to get to and play the piano. He changes every single day.
December 25th, 2007 Enzo's First Christmas!
Click here for the Christmas Photo Album
It is hard to believe that Enzo's first Christmas is here! What a perfect age. He will be six months old on New Years Day. He is interested in everything and anything. He got a lot of nice things that he loves. He got a new wagon from Pop pop and Great Grandma Joyce, a dump truck from me, lots of new clothes from Mammers, a baby doll (yes a baby doll) from Momma, and lots more to come throughout the day! He loves his books and has a Horsey flashlight to read them with. He also got a P-51 Mustang scale model but I seem to enjoy it more than he does so far. Merry Christmas!
November 27th, 2007
I know, I know, it has been while since I updated. Enzo had a checkup 2 weeks ago and here are his latest stats. He weighed 13lbs 4oz and was 25 inches long. He also recently started on cereal (which he loves) and recently met his Aunt Laura, Uncle Tom, and cousin Ethan for the first time. He really liked them but wondered why he wasn't fed any of the turkey dinner we had for Thanksgiving. Soon enough. He is getting so big and strong. He sits up with a little help, he eats his toes, he babbles and smiles at everyone, and he loves his dad. I am sure he loves everyone else too. What a good boy. He get cooler every day. Just when I think I love him as much as possible I love him a little more. It's amazing. Well keep checking back. we will add pictures as the holiday approaches.
November 6th, 2007
Well Enzo had a good Halloween. He went as a turtle this year. He was the cutest turtle I have ever seen. We left for Dallas last week and Enzo boarded a plane for the second time in his 4 month life. I had the worlds least exciting Crystal Reports class until Friday afternoon and then we went on to Oklahoma City to see Garth and Heidi Magaro. They are 4 months pregnant and anxiously awaiting their first little one. We went to the Oklahoma City Bombing Memorial and Museum which was impressive. Sunday Garth took us to the OKC Zoo which was a very nice zoo. Thanks Heidi and Garth for letting us stay with you! Check out the Photo Album from the trip by clicking here
October 21st, 2007
This weekend Enzo talked us into going to Letchworth State Park in New York. Along the way we decided to finally buy a GPS and go geocaching. We hiked in a few miles and found the cache. I thought we lost Brandi but she made it. Enzo loved it and had a quick snack in the woods. He slept the rest of the way out and slept all night when we got home. The hike must have worn him out.
October 2nd, 2007
Enzo is now 3 months old! Enzo didn't have much of a problem getting back to his routine after our trip. He is getting so big! I look at pictures from a few weeks ago and it doesn't even seem like him! He has been smiling at us quite a bit lately. I think he likes us. As you can see in the picture to the left Enzo, Mama, and I went for a little hike. (Check out our matching safari hats) He likes his Baby Bjorn front carrier too. Check out the slideshow for pics from the Zoo in Pittsburgh over the weekend.
Sept 26th, 2007
We are on the road. Mama is driving so I thought I would take the opportunity to jot some things down. We were talking and realized that Enzo has quite the travel log for an almost 3 month old. Some people might think he travels to much for a little guy but I think that the extra time we get to spend together is a bonus. He is a wonderful traveler. Every hour or two we stop and stretch out and get him some chow. That is his favorite part. So far Enzo has been in the following states. Pennsylvania (of course), New York, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois (Chicago), Michigan, and Missouri (St Louis to see Mindy) . If we could count the States while he was In Utero the list would be much bigger. There was a Georgia and Colorado trip while he was in there. I don't think this will be the last of his travels. I look forward to checking new places and things out with him.
Sept 25th, 2007
Well Enzo is going on another trip with Dad this week. We are leaving for Chicago and the little guy and his mama will have their first visit to the windy city. Enzo changes by the day anymore. I figure he will be talking one of these days when I get home from work. He is looking less like a baby every day and more like a little man. The next few months will be busy as usual! We are flying to Dallas (I have a training class there) and then driving to Oklahoma City from there to see Heidi and Garth. Barb Schatz asked if he had "Wheels under his but" because he has been all over already. What a good boy.
Sept 12th, 2007
As you may have noticed in the picture to the left Enzo took his first bottle the other night. I get to feel like I'm a part of feeding now too! Brandi was sad to try it but she knows that if she is going to be able to work or even get a break for a bit this is the next step. It took him a grand total of 20 seconds to figure out the bottle. What a cool little guy. I love him.
August 28th, 2007
Another few weeks have gone by in a flash. Things go faster and faster every day. Enzo is doing well. He has been outgrowing his newborn clothes lately and is moving into his 0-3 months stuff. Everyone has been very generous with clothing so he only gets to wear his outfits a few times and then he out grows them! I will try and keep the site updated as much as possible. Contrary to popular belief I have been very busy at work. I will be going to Chicago 2 times in Sept. and to Dallas, TX at the end of October. Enzer is going to try and make it once or twice with me on my trips.
August 13th, 2007
Well Enzo gets bigger and stronger every day! He is now 6 weeks old. As his onesie says in the picture he is "Macho like his daddy" He rolls over regularly now and even goes from his back to his side. He hasn't figured out that with a little more effort he could go the whole way back to his stomach. He doesn't mind though. He is happy to check things out from his new perspective.
August 2nd, 2007
Well just a quick update. Enzo had his check up and we are happy to say that he is up to 8lbs 6oz and 22in long!
August 1st, 2007
Enzo is 1 month old. It almost seems longer than that. I can't even imagine what life was like without him here. He is good to us and has been sleeping better at night. Brandi is doing a stand up job as usual. We gave Enzo another bath last night. He actually slept through most of this one. For those of you who doubt Enzo, he has been rolling over any time he has tummy time. He can almost make it from his back to his tummy. What a little toughie. Anyway off to bed for the family. Check out Enzo's new album listed above.
July 27th, 2007
Well this has been a week of firsts for Enzo. He got to meet his Aunt TT (Adrienne) for the first time. He got his first real bath in the nice fancy shower/tub we got as a gift. He had his first road trip through Pennsylvania, New York, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and back. He also rolled over for the first several times at 3 weeks and 5 days old! I know this may sound bogus but I have the video evidence to prove it! We're in trouble! Well check out the video. It is a big file so I hope it works! Give it plenty of time to download. CLICK HERE
July 19th, 2007
It has been a bit since I updated the site. Since then Enzo has been to the doc to check him over . The doc says he is doing great now and everything is good. Enzo has been sleeping a little bit better at night this past week. His poor mother gets 3 or 4 hours sleep in a row now! Brandi is a trooper. She does really well with him and it is neat to see her as a mom. She had a birthday 2 days ago. 26 years old now! It is hard to believe. Well I've gotta run. I have to get to work. Keep checking back for more updates!
July 9th, 2007
Since Enzo is here we decided to stop the entries on the "baby" page and start making entries on Enzo's Page. This first entry is on Enzo's eighth day of life. This has been a rough week for Enzo. He had to visit the doctor almost every day. He is back on track now though. Today he weighed in at 7lbs even. On the way home we stopped at Sizerville State Park for test drive of his new stroller. Other than the heat we really enjoyed it. We hope to get there more often.
